FEATURED ON THE ISSUE MAGAZINE
These two sisters chose different paths, one opted for a lawyer career (Sandra) and the other one architecture (Natalia). Their DNA is not the only thing that unites them, Manifesto Reche is their women's wear and accesories brand founded in 2012. Here is where they get to create an atmosphere of architecture and contemporary art.
Their inspiration comes from various artists like Sol Lewitt and Bill Viola, architect Kazuyo Sejima and Tadao Ando. They investigate in new forms and proportions, but what characterizes the work of these two sisters is the research that they make in discovering and bringing up new fabrics.
Manifesto Reche is the summary of these two sisters, since it involves all their knowledge, experiences and concerns which they have lived and has surrounded them. Their first collection/manifesto ARCHITECTURAL SUBURBS shows a relationship and proximity to contemporary art, architecture and photography. Their designs like puzzles, have an infinite of possibilities. With their collection/manifesto they only show one way of wearing the pieces, but they argue that the fashion world should be more free, going away from the stereotypes and closer to art, therefore they design as real artists and not as mercenaries.
